Attorney at Law since 1995, specialized in Intellectual Property at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and Business Management and Finance MBA from Getúlio Vargas Foundation.

Andréa participates actively in national and international congresses related to the field of Intellectual Property. She is a member of the Brazilian Association of Industrial Property Agents (ABAPI), International Trademark Association (INTA), Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI), Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/RJ), European Association of Lawyers (AEA) and the European Communities Trademark Association (ECTA).

She is currently the 2nd Vice-President of ABAPI, Brazilian Delegate and President of the Social Action Committee of ASIPI, member of INTA’s Unreal Campaign Committee, effective member of the Fashion Law Commission (CDMD) of OAB/RJ, Coordinator of the Study Commission of Geographical Indications of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI).

Andréa was recognized as the winner of the International Advisory Experts (IAE) 2020 award, in the Trademark category in Brazil, she was also indicated by the WTR 1000 (World Trademark Review) 2021, 2022 and 2023 rankings, as one of the most recognized trademark lawyers in Brazil and recognized for her outstanding practice in the trademark area in Brazil, by Leaders League 2021, 2022 and 2023, recognized as IP Leader by WIPR (World IP Review) 2023, and in Fashion Law category by Chambers and Partners Brazil 2022 and 2023.

She became a partner at Gruenbaum, Possinhas & Teixeira in 2012 and is responsible for the Intellectual Property area.
